After installing and activating a plugin, test your website and browse around your website to verify you have not broken anything. If you have a dedicated tester, your tester should instantly carry out regression tests to verify that your website is still performing as intended.
Some things to look out for when installing a new plugin include the following…
- Does the new plugin work as described?
- Does the new plugin (and your website) work well with the plugin’s ‘recommend’ themes and plugins (if any)?
- Does the new plugin (and your website) work well with your existing theme and plugins?
- Check if the plugin is compatibility with your Page Builder (if you have one)
- If you are not pleased with the new plugin, then you can rollback your website to the version you had before installing the plugin. You need the database that you backed up in the Steps to do Before Installation to rollback.
If you installed one of our plugins, you can retrun to the plugin’s documentation for help with configuring and customising your new plugin and website to suit your branding and business requirements.
